Anton Gottlob
German born, London based.
Spontaneity tightly controlled. The hot flash of immediacy. An instinct for what’s unexpected. Anton Gottlob has the energy to respond brilliantly in the moment to whoever or whatever’s in front of him. “If you’re the wild one, everyone else has room to be more complicated.” As well as his superhero charm, having studied under past masters, he brings a steady assurance to the great adventure of image-making. He’s curious, devouring, obsessive, driven. And driving his velocity is a deep connection to his subject – with a passion for life, for character, for the wonderful unexpected details that make great photography.
